Reflections of DeQuincy

The Reflections of DeQuincy (IOP) is a team of professionals that provide comprehensive, short-term, out-patient treatment for adults age 50 and older.

An Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) provides a structured level of mental health treatment that’s more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy but less so than inpatient or partial hospitalization programs. IOPs are designed for individuals who need more support than weekly therapy sessions but don’t require 24-hour supervision.

Key Features of IOP:

  • Increased Intensity:

IOPs offer more frequent and structured therapy sessions compared to standard outpatient care.

  • Flexibility:

IOPs allow individuals to maintain their daily routines while receiving treatment.

  • Comprehensive Care:

IOPs often include a variety of therapeutic approaches, including individual therapy, group therapy, and medication management.

  • Transitional Setting:

IOPs can serve as a step-down from higher levels of care, like inpatient treatment, or as an alternative to residential care.

  • Community Integration:

IOPs often encourage participation in community support groups and other resources to promote lasting recovery.

IOP is suitable for individuals who:

  • Have a mental health disorder that requires more than weekly therapy.
  • Can benefit from structured group therapy and individual support.
  • Need to balance treatment with their daily responsibilities.
  • Are transitioning from a higher level of care, like inpatient treatment.

The patients meet for group therapy three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Transportation and meals are provided to those receiving services from the program. Reflections Dose Require a physician’s referral.
