As a COLA accredited laboratory, DeQuincy Memorial Hospital lab is recognized by the regulatory agency for our “commitment to quality” and excellence. These standards are essential in providing exceptional patient care.
The laboratory’s Medical Director is a Board Certified Pathologist through the State of Louisiana. The lab staff consists of Medical Laboratory Technologists/Scientists that are licensed through the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners, as well as experienced phlebotomy techs.
The laboratory offers an extensive menu of testing including:

- Urinalysis

- Glucose
- Cardiac Screening
We pride ourselves in rapid and accurate results that are delivered by our automated information system to physicians and other healthcare entities as well as faxed.
We offer our services to not only the patients of the hospital, but also to the outpatients of DeQuincy and neighboring communities. We are dedicated to the upmost compassionate patient care possible. Whatever the need, the DeQuincy Memorial Hospital Laboratory is ready and willing to assist our patients in achieving the highest quality healthcare. The staff and hospital thank you for your support. The lab is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for ER or inpatient.
The laboratory is open for outpatient services Monday through Friday during the hours of 8 am to 5 pm.
